Lisa Padgalskas lives in Laguna Niguel, CA, with her husband, Rick, two black cats and a black dog. She graduated with a B.A. in Psychology back in the day, and since then her life has taken a variety of paths. Using her college education primarily for self-growth, she went on to be a model, a travel agent, a staff writer for an Island magazine after moving to Hawaii, then back in California, a mom, a massage therapist, and a volunteer at a marine mammal rescue center.
The thread that runs throughout her life, however, is her love of writing, and she’s put together a humorous collection of personal essays – called The Life of Lisa – about an “ordinary, everyday woman” with a unique and sometimes absurd way of seeing things. The indie-published book includes tales about her incessant pursuit for sleep, the horror of seeing whiskers on her chin in the rearview mirror, and a spiritual awakening in the jungles of Mexico. MILO IN THE SKY is her debut novel, reflecting her own search for love and meaning, as well as her discovery of the profound power of human touch.
