Okay, we need to lighten up here, so here’s some stories from my book, The Life of Lisa, that I hope will help that happen. I like to write personal narrative that make the reader smile and hopefully identify with the predicament, such as “Worst Birthday Ever” or “Mom and Hinks Windermuth.” On the other hand, life has it’s serious moments too, so some of the stories reflect on those times, like “Whispers of the Soul,” which is actually about the day my mom passed away. “Journey to Tepoztlan” is about a spiritual retreat I took to Mexico that profoundly changed my life. My heart and soul is in these stories. I hope you enjoy them.
